Terms
These terms explain the basic agreement that applies when you use the index0 website, browser extension, and related services.
Effective date: August 22, 2026
Acceptance and scope
By using index0, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.
The service
index0 provides webpage saving, indexing, search, import, export, and sharing. The browser extension saves the current page only when you explicitly click its toolbar button or context-menu command. We may continue to adjust features and interfaces, but doing so does not give us ownership of your saved content.
Account responsibility
You are responsible for safeguarding the accounts, devices, and third-party credentials used to sign in, and for activity under your account. If you discover unauthorized access or a security issue, please email help@index0.link.
Your content and permission
You retain the rights you hold in content you submit or import. To operate the service, you grant index0 a non-exclusive, worldwide license, limited to what is necessary, to host, process, copy, transmit, and display that content. This license is used only to provide, protect, and improve index0.
You must have the right to save and share the relevant content. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious, privacy-invasive, or harmful to others or to the security of the service.
Public sharing
When you enable sharing for an index, anyone with its share link may view the saved items it contains. Do not place sensitive information or content you cannot lawfully disclose in a public index. You can disable sharing or reset the link, but we cannot control copies made by others before the link became invalid.
Acceptable use
When using index0, you must not:
- Violate applicable law or infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Upload malicious code, attempt to bypass authentication or security restrictions, or access another person's account or data.
- Use automated tools or network requests in a way that disrupts, damages, or places an unreasonable load on the service.
- Use the service to distribute fraudulent, harassing, hateful, violent, or otherwise harmful content.
Third-party content and services
Webpages, titles, descriptions, images, and icons in saved items may come from third-party websites. Sign-in services such as Google and GitHub are also provided by their respective third parties. index0 does not control, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, availability, or security of third-party content or services; their own terms apply when you use them.
Changes, suspension, and termination
We may change, limit, or suspend parts of the service for maintenance, security, legal requirements, or product changes. We may restrict or terminate access when an account violates these terms, harms the service or others, or when the law requires action. You may stop using the service at any time and should export important data in advance when needed.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, index0 is provided as is. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that fetched page metadata and third-party links will always be accurate, secure, or available. You should keep appropriate backups of important data.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, index0 is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. These terms do not exclude or limit rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes to these terms and contact
If these terms change materially, we will update the effective date and provide prominent notice in the product or store listing. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms. For questions about these terms, your account, or the service, email help@index0.link.
